Representation
If you are financially eligible and live in the northern parts of Frontenac or Lennox and Addington Counties, our lawyers can provide services to you, including representation before government tribunals, in the areas of law listed above.
Advice
We give legal advice and information on many areas of the law. If we are unable to help you, we will refer you to someone who can. There are no financial eligibility requirements when asking for advice.
Community Legal Education
Community Legal Education is an important part of our work. We write a newspaper column called Legalese that has been published for nearly two decades in The Frontenac News. We also provide legal education workshops and would be pleased to have someone from our office speak to you or your group. A number of informative pamphlets on a wide range of legal topics are available at our offices.
Fees
We are a community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario. We don't charge for our services. However, we will ask you to make a contribution for expenses paid on your behalf (e.g. court fees, medical reports) if you are able.
